We are looking for passionate candidates for Specifier Architect (Bandung based) position.

Responsibilities : 

1. Reviewed drawings and other project information to write and edit specification documents, material boards & mapping for projects and coordinates compliance with project requirements, institutional guidelines, Urbane standards, technical conditions, acceptable standards, existing laws, government regional regulations, Ministerial Decrees, SNI, NFPA, IBC, CSI etc.
2. Understands the project design requirements and translates those requirements into materials, methods, equipment, procedures, installation, and certification testing necessary to provide the narrative descriptions which are used to procure, install and erect building components.
3. Understand the regulations and the tender process, and be able to prepare tender proposals for government projects, private projects, and tenders for the selection of consultants.
4. Performs product research; assists project designers with material selection and system research.
5. Provides quality management reviews and technical advice in design development through construction document phases.
6. Develops and maintains relationships with vendors.
7. Provides continual development and improvement of Urbane Master Specifications including its specialized content for project type or regional conditions as well as sustainable content.
8. Developed and maintained technical resource library and list of technical resource contacts.
9. Reviewed cost planning budget.
10. Developed and improved urbane document standards and best practice procedures.
11. Assists project architects and project designers with material and system constructability analysis.
12. Assists project architects with shop drawing and product substitution review.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Architecture.
• 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in architectural specification document preparation and deliverable terms.
• Mastering in various material trends, technical detail and specification in Architectural fields
• Mastering in materials utilization in projects, experience to conduct reviews when site visit and solving the problem.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
• Enthusiast in building materials, high motivation to learn, and able to work with deadline.
• Preferably IAI Member; SKA Certificate (Preferable)
• Required skill(s) : AutoCAD, 3D modeling (SketchUp,3dMax), Mircrosoft Applications.
• Part-Time position(s) available.
